The National Testing Agency releases the JEE Main Cutoff 2021 after the declaration of May 2021 results. The authority releases two types of cutoff- admission and qualifying cutoff.

 The JEE Main qualifying cutoff is the minimum required marks for admission in jee participating institutes and jee advanced. Whereas, the jee admission cutoff marks are the scores within which the institutes offer admission. NTA has started the application process. The factors that determine the jee main cutoff scores is as follows-

What Is JEE Main Opening Closing Rank 2021?

In the JEE Main Result, candidates get the percentile score secured by them in each subject and aggregate percentile. Apart from this, they also get the rank as per the category and at All India Level. Those who secure 2,50,000 rank or under it, go for the JEE Advanced. But the candidates who are not eligible for JEE Advanced or not interested in IITs admission, participate in JoSAA counselling. Participating NITs, IITs, GFITs set the opening and closing rank for the candidates and process take place through JoSSA. Candidates can check the cutoff scores from the official website. The applicants who score more than the cutoff marks will be eligible for the counselling process. In the counselling, candidates have to register and reserve their choices of colleges and courses. Hence, based on the cutoff and ranking, the counselling rounds will take place.
